Driven, operated by Driven Labs, Inc. (“Driven,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides a global content and community platform for the automotive industry, available at www.getdriven.co. Driven is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we handle your information.
This Privacy Policy explains how Driven collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you use our digital services, including our website, mobile applications, and any content, functionality, or services offered therein (collectively, the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Use. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.
1. SCOPE
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process:
- When you access or use the Service;
- When you communicate with us, including by email or through social media; and
- When we receive your personal information from third parties, as described below.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information processed solely in connection with separate written agreements with creators, talent, or other partners (e.g., “Creator Agreements”), except where those agreements incorporate this Privacy Policy by reference.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect the following types of personal information. Not all categories will apply to every user.
Information You Provide Directly
- Account and profile information.Name, username/handle, email address, password (stored in hashed form), profile photo or avatar, biography, preferences, and other details you choose to add to your profile.
- User content.Videos, photos, comments, chat messages, reactions, and any other content you upload, post, or transmit via the Service, including associated metadata.
- Communications and support.Messages you send to us (for example, support requests, bug reports, or feedback), and any information you choose to include in those messages.
- Purchase and subscription information.If you subscribe to paid features or make purchases, we collect information about the products or services purchased, subscription plan, purchase date, renewal and cancellation details, and limited transaction information. Payment card details are typically collected and processed directly by our payment processors or app stores, not by Driven.
- Surveys, promotions, and beta programs.Information you provide when you participate in surveys, promotions, sweepstakes, or beta tests (e.g., your responses, preferences, and feedback).
- Safety and verification information.Information you provide to help us verify your identity or account (if we ask for it) or to investigate and resolve safety, security, or legal issues.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Service, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information through cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies:
- Device and network information.IP address, device identifiers, device type, operating system, browser type and version, language settings, and approximate location inferred from IP address.

- Payment processors and app stores, such as transaction confirmation, basic payment details (e.g., last 4 digits of card, card type), and billing status, to enable subscriptions and handle refunds or chargebacks.
- Analytics, measurement, and advertising partners (if enabled), such as aggregated reports about how people interact with our content or ads, and, in some cases, identifiers and event data used for measurement and fraud prevention.
- Other users, when they mention you, tag you, or share your content on the Service.
- Publicly available sources, such as public social media profiles or public websites, where permitted by law.

- Send you marketing communications about Driven or our partners, in accordance with your preferences and applicable law. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time (see Section 7).
Safety, Security, and Legal Compliance
- Protect the security and integrity of the Service, our users, creators, and partners.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and other harmful or illegal activity.
- Enforce our Terms of Use and other policies.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities or other third parties.
Aggregated and De-Identified Data
We may create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information (for example, statistics about content performance or audience behavior) and use and disclose it for any lawful purpose. We will not attempt to re-identify such data where required by law.
4. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
If you are in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or the United Kingdom (“UK”), we process your personal data only when we have a valid legal basis:
- Contract. To provide the Service under our Terms of Use (e.g., account management, content delivery, community features, purchases).
- Legitimate interest. To operate, secure, and improve the Service; prevent fraud and abuse; perform analytics and measurement; and send certain communications, where our interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
- Consent. For certain non-essential cookies, some marketing communications, and certain forms of interest-based advertising, where required by law. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We do not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you within the meaning of the GDPR.

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”) to operate, improve, and personalize the Service.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
- We do not sell your personal information.
- If, in the future, we allow third-party advertising partners to collect personal information via cookies or similar technologies on our Service for cross-context behavioral advertising, such activity may be considered “sharing” under the CCPA.
If and when we “share” personal information in this way, you will have the right to opt out of sharing, and we will provide a clear “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link or similar mechanism (including in connection with any cookie preference tools). You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf, subject to verification of the agent’s authority and your identity.
9. YOUR EUROPEAN RIGHTS
If you are a resident of the EEA, the UK, or certain other jurisdictions, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data, subject to applicable law:
- Access. Obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal data and request a copy.
- Rectification. Request correction of inaccurate personal data and completion of incomplete data.
- Erasure. Request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Restriction. Request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Portability. Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and request transmission to another controller, where technically feasible.
- Objection. Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including profiling. We will honor your objection unless we have compelling legitimate grounds or the processing is necessary for legal claims.
- Withdraw consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Complain to a supervisory authority. Lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence, place of work, or where an alleged infringement occurred.

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We are headquartered in the United States, and many of our service providers are located in the United States or other countries outside your home country. This means your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your country.
11. SECURITY
We use administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. No security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for choosing a strong password and keeping it confidential.
12. CHILDREN AND MINORS
The Service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@drivenstudios.com, and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information and, if applicable, terminate the child’s account.
13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services, or may integrate third-party features (such as embedded content or social sharing tools). These third parties may collect information about you when you interact with them.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with personal information or using their services.
14. “DO NOT TRACK” AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting that can signal to websites that you do not want to be tracked. The Service does not currently respond to DNT signals.
However, where required by applicable law (including in California), we will recognize and honor valid opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), in connection with “selling” or “sharing” personal information as defined under the CCPA, to the extent GPC is applicable to our implementation.
15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post an updated policy on our website and update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy means you accept the updated policy.
